123 challenge - september

hello, it feels like forever since i have blogged.
i have been busy with other things and didnt scrap for a few weeks but have done a few pages in the last few days and my gosh it feels great. mostly dt work so you will have to wait...but this one is one of my favourite pages and its for 123 challenge September challenge.
so here it is

the photo i have used was taken almost 7 yrs ago. at the time we were living in townsville and my partner who is in the army left to go to east timor for 6 month with less than 48 hrs notice. our daughter was 5 months old and we had no family around. with the majority of both of our families in perth (even extended family) i decided to pack a bag for my daughter and i go for a holiday. unfortunatley living in a hot climate we didnt have much winter clothing and we were heading to perth at the start of winter. being so young and not working im lucky that my mother in law has an eye for some gorgeous second hand clothing and supplied my daughter with a few bags of clothes to keep her warm. although growing up mostly in perth as a child i had forgotten how cold it gets and still struggle with the cold...even a townsville winter!! lol
anyway here is my page

with a close up

and even more closely

isnt she adorable!!!
that little romper embellishment was from a baby card i recieved when we had her and i thought it was just the perfect touch.
the chipboard is from A2Z scraplets doodlet #4

and i simply applied gesso and sprayed it with glimmermist while it was wet then inked over the top when dry. i love using these as the base of my cluster.

funnily enough i made this for my daughter last month (before this challenge came out) which i havent shared but it fits perfectly. its a worry box. so she puts all her worries inside and then we can talk about them.
the first photo is the top of the lid, then the bottom of the box on the inside, then the inside of the lid

thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.
